If you have a possesion of marijuana, a state jail felony, can you still apply to get a gun permit in Texas?  If not, what if the case was dismissed, then would they be able to get the ccw permit?

I’m a 21year old female and I will soon be moving out my parents house and feel like I need a gun for protection. So I wanted to know if I can purchase a gun without a permit in the state of Georgia. I know that you have to be 21 to purchase a gun period and that you need to have a permit to carry one but do you have to have a permit to just keep one in your house? If you know anything about this or if you know of a website I can use to look up this information please let me know. Thank You

I know that some states do not require any kind of license or permit to buy a handgun in a private transaction, except requirement to be 18. But in my state they do as well as you have to be 21 for a handgun. I am 20 and I really want to buy a handgun! I don’t want to wait another year so I can get a handgun permit so I am thinking of going to our neighboring state where they don’t require permit for private sales to buy a gun from a private seller. But I am wondering what if somehow (though really unlikely) the seller turns out to be an undercover cop? And he finds out that I am from another state trying to buy a gun. Could they send me to jail or put some other charge on me? I mean can they actually arrest someone for something they were gonna do but didn’t actually do? And if yes, what are possible punishments?

I am anxious to know what background checks gun stores do to purchase a handgun permit in the State of Michigan?

I have my Sora card for security for the state of New Jersey. I am tiring to get my fire arm and /or carrying permit. Can someone please inform me how to go about getting those items and how much will everything cost.. I understand that I need 3 references and that is about all I know at this time.
