FFL Dealer?  I do not want to be rude, but why are you searching for FFL dealer? We have been doing this gun thing long enough to know that there are really only a couple of reasons why you would be asking the Internet for this search.  I hope you do not think we are rude by presuming why you asked such a question, but let’s explore the reason why anyone would type FFL dealer into a search engine.

FFL dealer: If you asked this and we came up as part of the search (we do quite often) we know that you were looking either a FFL dealer to have something shipped, or you were looking to learn what it would take to become a FFL dealer.  It is hard to imagine that the process of getting a Federal Firearms License (FFL) has become such an intense process because it is shrouded in the cloak of bureaucracy. Regardless of why you typed what you did into the search engine, we are glad you are here because we have answersed many questions on this website in the hopes of unraveling the red tape that surrounds becoming a FFL dealer.

Why would you want to spend your hard earned cash to just give to someone for doing something so simple, that you can do it yourself?  Instead of giving your cash to someone for transferring title of  firearm, why not become a FFL dealer and pocket the money?  If you buy firearms why pay someone to be able to register and take possession of the firearms when you can easily do all by yourself?  Why do you have to bother with a FFL dealer at all, when you can become one yourself and keep all of the fees, for yourself?  Why don’t you think about becoming a FFL dealer yourself?

When you become a FFL dealer you could have the firearms go straight from the manufacturer and sent straight to your place of business.  Your place of business may even be allowed to be your home!  Why would you want to handover your hard earned cash to some stranger, or worse yet, a friend for something that you could do all by your lonesome?  Why not become a registered and certified and legal Federal Firearms License holder?  (FFL for short)

The truth of the matter is that if you qualify you will be able to cut out the middleman and spend more of your money on, well….yourself.  By becoming a FFL dealer you will be allowed to purchase firearms at wholesale, straight from the source.  You will be able to transfer ownership of firearms and not have to pay others for the service.  You could buy 1 gun or 1,000 guns and the savings would be there and the hassle will be minimized.  That was the good news…Now for the bad news….

The government has “mucked up” the process of being able to become a FFL dealer to the point that most individuals think that it is too hard to apply and become a FFL dealer.  The belief is that the government wants to legislate gun control, while still being able to say that guns are legal.  There is a little thing called the 2nd Amendment that gets in the way of the government everytime they try taking away your guns.  The hush-hush “secret” that the media does not mention is that the choke-hold of gun control has become the legislation surrounding gun ownership.  That choke-hold is visible in the law of the land and evidenced in the difficulty a person experiences when applying to become a FFL dealer.

By complicating the process so much, the average individual citizen in America today does not exercise their right to be able to become a FFL dealer. Today in America the process to become so muddled up that most people shy away from even applying for the personal right to be a FFL dealer.  More bad news…..  Due to the massive and voluminous anti-gun legislation that is in effect now, many people are afraid to even consider the reality that they are entitled to the right of being able to be a FFL dealer. 

Let us not forget, the whole FFL dealer application process is just so the individual can buy and sell guns.  That is the sum total of it and Americans today are shying away and have accepted that the Federal Government is trying to remove the right of gun ownership from the land.  With that being stated, the current laws in effect still allow you to buy firearms, but those laws are being infringed on more and more by the liberal courts instituting laws that are illegal in the mere fact that they even exist!

Now the good news….The only weapon (pun intended) that the Federal Government has in its arsenal of keeping guns out of the hands of rightful citizens is to delay the process as much as possible and surround the entire FFL dealer application process in red tape.  The entire FFL dealer application process has been blown up into a process that is so big a newcomer cannot understand it and often gets frustrated and then just gives up.  If you want to become a FFL dealer, do not let the Federal Government get away with the fact that your rights are being trampled upon.  If you want to become a FFL dealer, then go for it!  Under the present day law you are allowed the right to bear arms and if you are eligible, you can become a FFL dealer.

If you decide to apply to become a FFL dealer then you really need to seek the advice of a company that specializes in applying to become a FFL dealer.  For the cost of eating out at a restaurant, you can have them provide you all of the needed information to apply to become a FFL dealer.  For the minimal price you will pay, the frustration level is reduced and the wait may even be reduced. If you team up with a veteran organization that has the smarts and experience of applying for a FFL, your chances of license denial will be greatly reduced.  When following the advice of a company that has done it thousands of times before, your chances of becoming a FFL dealer increase greatly
