I want an answer.

Okay, so I did some research. The number one annual cause of death (some few odd years ago) was tobacco. It killed approximately 435,000 people. Then came poor diet and physical inactivity, which killed 365,000. Alcohol was 3rd with 85,000. After that, came microbial agents- 75,000; Toxic agents- 55,000; Motor Vehicle Crashes- 26,341; Adverse Reactions To Prescription Drugs- 32,000; Suicide- 30,622; Incidents Involving Firearms- 29,000; Homicide- 20,308; Sexual Behaviors- 20,000; All Illicit Drug use, Direct and Indirect- 17,00; Non-Sterodial Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Such As Asprin- 7,600. And then, MARIJUANA! Guess how many deaths were caused by marijuana? None! So, why is it illegal when Tobacco and alcohol aren’t? So the government won’t take our smokes and liquor, but they do our joints? It’s so stupid it makes me sick. And poor diet and physical inactivity? If they’re going to outlaw weed, they should outlaw Twinkies and force us to buy a treadmill! And there are so many other drugs out there that are LEGAL, and way more intense than weed. See how much higher tobacco and alcohol are on the level of seriousness? Marijuana is similar to caffeine, for Christ’s sake. People even robo-trip- get high off cough syrup. And there’s salvia, it’s legal, and wayyy more intense than pot.

And did you know that weed is more valuable than GOLD? It is, because it’s illegal and people try so hard to get it. And instead of tax payers paying money for INNOCENT people in jail over weed (yes, tax money goes to jails to take care of some stoner who got caught with a joint), the government could tax pot and distribute it like cigarettes and use the money for schools or something productive.
People are so stupid, seriously.
